last updated March, 2026

A.E. Wills prepared high quality microscope slides, particularly mounting specimens from the sea such as foraminifera. He was a member of the Quekett Microscopical Club from April, 1997 until ca. 2005.

Wills was born in Tonbridge Wells, Kent, England in 1933, son of Ernest Frank and Gladys Elizabeth Pay Wills. He appears to have spent most or all of his life in that area. His wife and children are still living, so will not be discussed out of respect for their privacy. He died on September 20, 2016.
